You've been meaning to properly switch off for months now. Not sleep. Not scrolling. Off.
One hour. No phone, no light, no sound. You float weightlessly in warm water, and there is nothing left to react to — no screen, no noise, not even gravity. For a lot of people it's the first proper pause they've had in a long time.
70,000+ floats delivered across two Sydney centres since 2014.
Three floats · new floaters · both Sydney centres
Try your first float. If it's not for you, tell the front desk before you leave and we'll refund the other two. No forms, no questions.
Worst case: you had a float for $63 instead of our usual $99.
Three 60-minute floats — that's $63 a float.

floats delivered across our two Sydney centres — Brookvale since 2014, Darlinghurst since 2016. We've had a lot of practice at giving people a quiet hour.
Saturday afternoon walk in. The tank was really quite large which meant I never experienced touching the sides. I paid for 75 mins and it was amazing. Water was the right temperature and bouyancy. Amazing result.
This was one of the best things that I've done for a long time. I've recently started learning to meditate and practice mindfulness to help with relaxation and my creativity. In my first hour float, I found it easier to switch off my brain …
Amazing. Inside the pod all your muscles get to relax. It feels like what I'd think you'd feel floating in space once you turn the lights off. It was nice to focus on my breathing which is probably something with all forget to do everyday. …
You settle in. The first few minutes, you get used to how quiet it really is. The water is body-temperature — after a while you stop feeling where you end and it begins.
You drift. No screen, no noise, no gravity to fight. Most people lose track of time completely.
You surface. Gentle music fades in to let you know the hour's up. Shower, take your time in the lounge, and head back out.
It's your hour — light on or off, music or silence. There's no wrong way to do it.
Each room is private and spacious. The pod is large enough that most people never touch the sides. You're in control of the door and the lights the whole time — you can float with the lid open if you want to.
I was a bit nervous before I started as I thought I wouldn't like to be in a closed tub but it ended up to be the most relaxing experience. The room, music and lights made me feel comfortable instantly. Thanks Sydney Float for the experience and I will be back!
Most first-timers tell us the hour flew by.
Friendly service and good experience. Each room has a pod and a shower. The hour flew by, as a newbie I was worried it would be too long. A no fuss and relaxed place. I would recommend going.
Floating has been measured against meditation, biofeedback and progressive muscle relaxation, and came out at about twice the effect. In a 2018 study, fifty people with diagnosed anxiety disorders each took a single one-hour float and reported a large drop in anxiety. It was an early study without a control group, so it shows what those people experienced rather than proof that floating caused it.
Across those studies, the programmes that ran longer measured stronger effects than one-off sessions — which is why this pack is three floats, not one.
